Karnataka Arya Vysya Mahasabha

Under VASAVI CHETHANA scheme, the Maha Sabha is providing financial help of Rs 1000 per month for the entire life to those who are physically-challenged by birth to the extent of 75 per cent and who are incapable to work.

Under VYSYA HOSTEL scheme, we have provided accommodation with food to those youths who come to Bangalore in search of job and with an objective of higher studies.

ARYA VYSYA GUEST HOUSE has been established in order to provide accommodation to the members of our community who come to Bangalore on some work or the other. The Maha Sabha has come up with DORMITORY where residential accommodation is provided at affordable cost without affecting their privacy.

Under VIDYARTHI MITHRA scheme, an interest-free loan of Rs One lakh is being provided without any collateral security to those students who are economically backward and who want pursue Engineering, Medical, CA, MBA and Pharmacy courses.

Under LAPTOP scheme, the Maha Sabha has been distributing laptops for the three years worth Rs 1.20 crores to students at the rate of 200 students per year. VASAVI ACADEMY has been doing a signal service by offering coaching and training to the students in order to prepare them for UPSC, IAS, IPS, KAS, IRS courses. This activity has been acclaimed by one and all.

Under AMARA JYOTHI scheme, the Maha Sabha has been providing financial assistance to the families where death has occurred.

The VYSYANTHARANGA is a social network site through which the activities of the Maha Sabha are being disseminated to the members effectively in a time-bound manner.

Under PRATHIBHOTHSAVA scheme, those students who score more than 90 per cent marks in the post-SSLC courses or pass in distinction are gathered at one place and felicitated by giving them certificates, citations and cash award. This gesture has enhanced their confidence as well as inspired the other students.

Under AROGYA BHAGYA scheme, the Maha Sabha has provided medical relief and assistance to those who have contracted diseases due to pandemic.The two most noble and heart-warming projects taken up by the Maha Sabha are VASAVI VANAPRASTHASHRAMA & VASAVI KARUNASHRAYA In the first venture, we are taking care of the senior citizens in the evening of their life. In the second venture, we have opened up an establishment to take care of the unfortunate children who have lost their parents. This blend of the old and the young have proved to be the much-needed tonic in the form of love, affection and care for both old and young.

Under VASAVI EXCELLENCE, a unique programme is being organized to identify, recognize and highlight the talented and meritorious members who have excelled in different walks of life. This programme is being conducted with leading Kannada daily KANNADA PRABHA and famous TV channel ASIANET SUVARNA, as media partners.

Under SANDHYA SHREE, another humanitarian gesture, a sum of Rs 1500 is being provided to widows above the age of 75 and who are unable to ekk out their living.

VASAVA PEETHA is the dream-come-true of our members. We have nursed a dream to have our own Guru Peetha which came true and became a reality with Sri Sri Sri Sachidananda Saraswathi ascending the Guru Peetha. He has been the leading and guiding the Arya Vysya Samaj with great devotion, diligence and is contributing in his own way to strengthen the noble mindset of the society members.
